Paul K David art is a collection of current and past work that is a work in progress, the work on this site is an amalgam of many years of creative output and an assortment of materials, skills and projects.
I grew up on the Akwesasne Mohawk reservation, also known as the St. Regis Mohawk reservation in a liminal space between Canada and the United States on the borders of Ontario, Quebec and New York state.
My artwork is a series of translation errors that encompasses my experience and understanding of world views. This work is how I express my interaction with the language, music and creative output of the world. My perspective is of someone who grew up during the various technological leaps of the 1990’s and 2000’s. While growing up in a culture that has roots to before pre-colonial contact and while also being builders of the 20th century.
